zijing and esther went to comics connection afterward. zijing had found no new book to her liking. everyone was screaming like nobody'y business except bh [who had seen this movie b4] and aud [who was nonchalant at the supposedly frightening scenes]. though i must admit,audrey,i salute you. we played the stacking game afterward. the die kept rolling to blue,and bh kept removing the bottom bricks. dorothy had not wanted to appear in the picture so there was the shot of her back.. we played monopoly afterward and it was a hilarious time. so many houses and hotels were built that everyone was relieved [and begging] to 'go to jail'.
i'm just gonna update about the week so this will be yet again another long post.LEAVE if you dont feel like reading this.i'm warning you,this will be a really long one! so prepare yourself,or else........mondaywent thru bio SPA skill 3 practice.. i did okay.chinese lesson was the same as usual.. rather uneventful,really..recess soon came and we chionged for e maths...e maths test was actually easy,but zijing is stupid lah,so.....english lesson...cant really rmb what we did... sry...physics!! went thru physics test. zijing was amazed [and still is] that she had finally passed,though she knows she is more confident for this test as she had finally understood the topic for once...went to the lockers to 'dump' our books before whisking ourselves off to Esther's house for a baking session!!the locker is shared by 4 ppl and is this full!!
zijing took these at Esther's study room window. it was not locked,the window not closed,and it has no grilling! zijing was so terrified she would fall out the 12-storey flat she clung close to the chair she had sat on taking those photographs... it was a close shave as her phone had almost slipped out of her hand!! [imagine a 12 storey drop. if my phone survives the fall i could have wrote in to the guiness book of world records to 'advertise' my phone to the world.] she had also leaned out the window as far as she had dared. death-defying,that's what i'd call it!

esther and zijing had slacked for about 2 hours before the others came... we got the recipe off the net and reduced the amount of ingredients by half. well,almost. zijing accidentally added too much sugar. she also kept trying to snatch dorothy's 'job' of rubbing the butter into the flour.. then esther and dorothy 'attacked' her [she was in great peril!] and finally managed to convince her to do other stuff while dorothy gets the dough ready...in the end we added too much batter and the cookies stuck to each other like those 6-piece breads sold at bread shops... we even had to cut the cookies with a knife [they used a plastic knife,those used to cut birthday cakes,to cut the cookies. it's PLASTIC,for goodness sake! the tip had melted and zijing had thrown the knife away..]
these 2 are just classic. [see below for explaination]
okay. apparently the container used to put the chocolate rice says that the expiry date is 24Jan2004,which,reminded by dorothy,is 4 years ago. and we actually used the chocolate rice! dorothy was flabbergasted and simply refused to eat the 2 cookies withe the chocolate rice on top. esther and zijing volunteered to eat them so as to not waste food.
in the end,the container was actually that of some apricot jam. we da-bao some cookies home. mummy loved the cookies.

that was done during recess. chuping had wanted us to do some stuff and wrote the instructions on the board,and everytime he does that the guys will go draw on the board to flaunt their artistic 'talents',which is not a lot. [sorry,guys. no offence intended,really.]ss was great. i learnt quite abit about venice,and now i'm deciding that i WILL visit it [and Italy] one day [apart from japan. that was first.]mr tan had marked our maths papers but had refused to return them to us. gah.had maths remedial and AP afterward.zijing had bought leftover cookies to eat at the lockers w/ esther. [mama had praised the cookies to be great!]met samuel and eileen at the library. we were joined by rosanna soon after.we perfected some physics theories we have learnt and started discussions after samuel had left for home w/ joled and junyan.we talked alot.. some girl stuff, some gossip...this and that.rosanna shared about she and jenny did in class when they were bored: writing poems.apparently thay had done haikus,poems and things as such,and were going to move on to limericks soon. the things you can do when your english is marvellous.... sigh~eileen then mentioned a 'day of silence' to support gays [or something like that] and had wanted us to join. the purpose was kinda funny,i have to admit.
zijing had tried to come up with some wonderful english creation on her own [inspired by rose and jenny] but had failed terribly. she is too ashamed of it to put it here.wednesdaygoah. HMT paper 2. everyone scribblled furiously on their papers,but most had not completed the papers.i am so screwed for this paper. period.we got our maths papers back today... zijing has got 16. again,she was confident she could pass,but she had lost marks due to careless mistakes.congrats,yingxin,for achieving full marks for thhis paper! [poh yingxin]thursdaylabor day. a day for rest.the clouds look great too :]
we [yenni,bh,dor,teo,aud,zj] watched Chucky: Child's Play at esther's house.
some of us went to yenni's house afterward. again,it was a gossip session.zijing had learnt something she had found disturbing about one of her friends [she refuses to describe it here no matter what]sometimes,ignorance IS bliss.zijing had got injuries on her legs as her shoes had chafed against her feet. this means it's time to get new shoes,girl!
friday
another saddening day w/ no fall-ins... sigh.edit: eileen and her day of silence!it's super hilarious de la. gloria tried but she failed. GO,EILEEN!she had a make-shift board on which she wrote down what she wanted to say.XD and i scribbled on her board for fun and eileen actually said that we can talk.it really was hilarious.i am still screwed for chinese,though. i have no idea what i was writing half the time. [edit end]zijing had gotten her geog paper back! 18/25. not too bad,but not too good either! jiayou,zijing!library study session! we went and got something before the study session [will elaborate more on the posts following this one]yenni and aud joined us afterward.while dewi and esther went to get themselves a drink,yenni,aud and zijing had gone to the kids' section to look at kiddy books [they are yenni's favourite]zijing found this one named "i don't like gloria'the 3 of us had laughed at the book name.afterward,we went upstairs to our books again to chiong for monday's a maths test.zijing was too bored to study [there was another study session sunday afternoon anyway] and read art magazines.dewi spotted her doing so and took pictures asking zijing to make those cards for her.if i could,i might go develop this and make fortunes! hahas..

saturdayzijing had to attend a funeral as part of the choir.its kinda hard to explain some of the things so this part is just mostly just pictures...
they had seen a dragon and a phoenix shaped clouds.zijing was too late to snap pictures of that so she had gone on to others instead.here's what the clouds look like to me:bird...

the altar thingy before the coffin. the coffin is closed and out-of-bounds [at least in viewing] as the face [i heard] had been damaged terribly in the accident in which he and 4 others died and the ppl were scared that the face of the daceased would terrify viewers.
there were about 600-700 ppl who had gone to the funeral,while at the other side of the Chao-Zhou-Bin-Yi-Guan only had 4 monks and a countable 20 or so ppl. theirs paled in comparison by 30times.
sunday
today had been the funeral procession. i think more than 700 ppl came down to send him off,the manager. [like i said,this is my religion de stuff so its hard to explain.]
lots of tears were shed.
manager yun,though i had never had the honor of knowing you,i can tell you have been a great person in your life and those of others.
i would not forget you easily.
zijing had rushed home from the mandai crematorium so as to attend the study session.
yenni's house was clear for about 2 hours and so she and zijing had some fun [i.e. are slacking]
we ate and watched Ayumi's MVs.
we took photos and did some facial stuff and discussed about a japanese magazine [Popteen] which had been translated into chinese.
anyway,we took these 3 pics:
dorothy came first [after me] followed by esther and iris. we had a small party eating and doing our maths at the same time. it was fun.
we then went to esther's house afterward.
zijing took this on her way home from esther's house.
