the chefs,qinjie,desiree,and zijing.. hehehe ^^ chatting with mr soh after the bbq was a fun event. he told us of his army life,and his recent trip with some colleagues to taiwan. we then celebrated marcus' birthday with some water poured on him,and we went out to play with sparklers... (mr soh went home since it was 12++am) we played the sparklers on the beach and some of us took photographs. on our way there... the way we held the sparklers was incredulous. it was like a whole group of teenagers on a funeral procession but with smiles on their faces. at any rate,we were 'caught' for playing at the beach by some patrollers. they had asked "what are y'all doing here?" and we had answered that we had rented the chalet nearby and thus they let us off. huu~ lucky!! went back to the chalet afterward. some of them played ball outside the resort while some of us went back. elaine,esther,shuyi,dunya and i had a mini challenge in the room because we were so bored but were unable to fall asleep. hahah. the challenge was to hold up our legs whilst lying down for the longest time possible. the person who put his/hers down first forfeits,and we had to put our legs down when someone entered the room...... and so we held our position for about 7 minutes,with elaine and dunya shouting "help" half the time so someone WOULD enter and the challenge will stops. haha. liyu and weilin and vivien came in later at 1.31am and the challenge thus ended with a very thankful dunya and elaine. the 3 girls had questioned our actions. (who wouldn't?!) slept on the floor in the cold room and got sores all over because the floor was hard and my position was horrible~ in the morning went to BK (burger king) at Dohby Gaut for breakfast. homed and slept after walking into comics connection (after so long!!! i swear i havent bought any manga since prelims which was like 5 months ago. and when i get to taiwan,i SWEAR i WILL step into any bookstore anytime i get so i can buy manga i want. they sell taiwan brands here in SG by about $2 more! rarr. shipping!!! i'd really rather go taiwan buy) oh well. gotta go now. still have to work though its new year's day. will update about AFA and EOY and Christmas and my new year Resolutions and whatever after that. hahaha. jaa~
120th post for the last day of the december of the year 2008......going to 2009 maybe when i finish posting~ 4508 chalet!!!!!!!!!!credits to BaoLin and LiYu for posting the following photos and tagging me~ went to chalet with my beloved class on sunday 28th december.in the morning morning went to yen's mom's working place to supposedly help cook the curry and bee hoon,but in the end didnt manage to help out at all cos we were apparently in the way of the cooking. hahaha. esther came with us as well,met us at the tanjong pagar mrt station.since we were not doing anything,we watched this dvd at the place. it has a very cute title,named "When the Dog falls in Love with the Cat" (i did a literal translation)the animals can talk! and the cat character is uber cute. her owner had said when he awoke one day, "that stupid dog is so noisy!!! how can i sleep?!?!" and the cat's voice: "how can i sleep when you're louder than the dog?" hahaha anyways,esther went home later to get her bag packed,and the elderly people came to the place (its some sort of a club place where the elderly meet new people and interact with them)yen performed magic tricks for me and (some of) them. her mom actually gave her money to learn magic. my mom? (i dont even want to talk about this)anyways,we went to Giant at Vivocity later on Esther's dad's cab,to help carry some of the stuff over to Costa Sands Sentosa. esther and yen were mad at xw for something. its a long story. sort-of.we checked in with esther's dad's help,and brought all the foods and beverages to the respective rooms with several trips.yen and teo and i later laid on the bed in the room to be used by the girls while waiting for the whole group of people to arrive.esther still mad at xw and almost lot her temper. and her losing her temper is not a good sight.anyways,after explaining the situation (after lots of ranting by her and yen on the taxi) to marcus,he brought xw over to apologise. (the girls were still kinda angry and xw knelt on the floor to apologise. omg) their anger subsided afterward,and some of our classmates came over later.went over to the beach with esther,yen,and audrey to play.i made a sandcastle-like structure. (i intended to build a real castle-look-a-like structure but i failed and only managed to make a squarish box thing) saw liyu and vivien and weilin at the beach later. liyu was sitting under the shade while the other 2 were playing. the pathway to the resort from the back door..

we practically played cards the whole of the day/night,but first,the lot of us chatted in the boys' room... that's me trying to avoid the camera.

we were betting like 10 cents,5 cents.... hahaha. shaojie super lucky! everytime he banker he wins TT^TT so we lost alot.... but marcus also very lucky. bet 50cents also will win most of the time. for me,i won -5cents in the end. negative! haha
anyways,picture time~ (and seriously,i hate my hair. i swear i'm going to find some way to tame that tangled chaos)
we watched TV programmes later. its a horror show,about whether there are ghosts and stuff. pretty scary stuff to watch at night,but its okay when you watch it with friends.
shao jie was pretending it was a theatre,asking us to turn off our phones and cameras. ha-ha.
and shaojie has a SEXY pose when he plays cards. just look at his legs on the wall. (oh wait,i think this was taked on the second night. bah. who cares)
anyways,a lot of us did not sleep for the first night,and we went for a night-walk around Sentosa island at 1++ in the morning,to keep in line with watching the horror show. (?)
since there were 17 of us who were going (i think qinjie would have gone if he did not need to go back to school to train his juniors at 9am everyday) so vivien managed to get her volleyball friends to come with us,making a total of 20. we walked around looking for dark paths to travel,but there were none.
the whole group of us then went to the merlion up a zig-zag structure. it was tiring,but worth it. the lights went off suddenly and it was damn cool. the merlion has a light in its nostril (as viewed from below)
we just kept walking,looking for more dark paths,but in the end we just walked down the path toward Palawan beach (speaking of which,they are having the countdown party there now)
yen and esther and kenneth went off on their own,and the rest of us went over to 7eleven to get ourselves some food and drinks before heading back to the resort. the part which went back played cards,while the rest who stayed outside chatted.
vivien went to drink tiget beer with her volleyball friends.
she came back drunk,after drinking 2 cans of beer.
it was amusing to see her walking about in a 'blur' mode...never seen a sight like this. i have to admit with Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles that its amusing to see the things people do when they are drunk. haha.
and i blabbered in japanese 'cause i was kinda high (<--lack of sleep). i said "asa gohan wa taberu",which is along the lines of "i wanna eat breakfast" while i was playing cards with my friends. i cooked (more like used hot water and put everything in a bowl and covering the whole thing with a plate,but that's not my point)
it startled me that liyu understood my sentence,because i had totally forgotten that she goes for japanese lessons. silly me.

i fell asleep on the beach waiting for the sun to rise,which never seemed to because the sun was obscured by the clouds.

in the afternoon was play-time by/in the sea. esther and i managed to drag samuel into the sea

today before work went to check out cosplay stuffs with clara.
got contacts at Spectacle Hut at AMKHub,brown ones. then went to check out shoes.
clara bought bandages for binding... andi have to get mine soon.
she paid the deposit for my lenses too cos i'm totally broke.. have to get $33 by 24Dec08 so as to pay for the lenses. rarr. and the funny thing is that i alr broke le lah.

great and ridiculous equation. totally fabulous. i'm broke even before i get my money.. *sigh~*
anyways,we went to Far East afterward,actually wanted to go to Haru,but at first cant find it. afterwards found it le den realised opens at 1pm TT^TT and thus we had to kill an hour. we looked for orange shirt and shoes for clara's kazuki cosplay and then sat down at the eateries area. clara played a Naruto game on her PSP while i wrote down the list of manga we wanted to sell (to gain cash for cosplay)
the we realised... orange vneck and shoes are hard to find!! it was afterward (on our way 'home' from work) when eli suggested to flip clara's class tee over to wear it that clara and i felt like idiots.
went to Haru afterwards at 1pm,got some help on costume and wigs...and met this helpful shop assistant whose username is noriko on sgclub (she said her username has many underscores and i managed to find it there. haha)anyways,eli and i went over to clara's after work to check out some wig and cosplay/costumes stuff and i just reached home about an hour ago at about 12.30am.. so tired now... so i gotta sleep...
edit: at amk hub... clara and eli and i were at the NTUC to see if they had orange stuffs.. and we saw some hampers.. we started comparing them to the ones we were wrapping....LOUDLY (and unconsciously) and seriously,the ones our company has are SO MUCH PRETTIER. we didnt believe it when our boss said it but its true. haha

people,please make sure you sleep for 5 to 9 hours per day. if you sleep less than 5 hours or more than 9 hours a day,you get an increased risk of getting a heart attack. its on the news! beware of how long you sleep!

yups,now taking some breaks.. they told me not to go to work till sunday... i feel kinda un-needed.. hahaha
dad and mom tried to get the splinter out of my finger yesterday.........and failed.. its still in me finger,and my finger still hurts....
but i shall let my system try to get it out...oh well...
cosplay.... discussing the stuffs with clara and her junior and eli this sat at clara's house..... maybe have to go buy some stuffs... and do the measurements..... but give measurement have to pay half the $$ cos its like make the costume for you when they take the measurement.... and i'm broke alr.. though getting $150 from my job.... but have to lend my bro $60 and the class chalet $56.... and have to give eli $15 so i will only have $19 left...... rarr.....
i wonder who i can borrow $$ from if i have to cosplay..... sigh~

okay,so i'm typing this because i'm plain bored.
yesterday,i was on the train with hikari-chan and we were coming up with numbers for different characters (mostly bec. of the KHR numberings the characters have,like Tsuna is 27 and things like that) anyways,we found out that Byakuya (from BLEACH) is 1008... largest number.. hahaha..
and i've been thinking about super-bleaching my hair for god-knows-what reasons... maybe i just wanted to try it for fun.... or maybe cosplay... idk..............
but maybe i should buy/try a wig to see how i will look like in strawberry-white-blonde hair before i do anything rash..... because i know bleaching my hair will kill it... not that those that have already grown out are not dead cells.....
oh wait. i do have things to do,actually... i have to.....
so that leaves me.......ALOT of things to do... well! crap!shh... dont tell on me.)
its because i'm crapping that i'm typing this here. hahaha.oh well..
back to playing Pet Society and finishing episode31 of My Date With A Vampire before cleaning my room and coming up with the plans for making the chainsaw.... (i researched,and i have the idea in my mind... but i'd need to make a paper -or something close- model or at least a personal blueprint before working on cardboard... oh well... wish me luck..)

okies,so i went to the EOY cosfest just saturday...but cant blog abt it yet cos i want piccies!! oh well... *waits*
last week,did 'new job'. i also made 2 new friends! yay~ hahha.
the first was a girl by the name of XinYi (spelling?) from ZhongHua Sec.. she's a student councillor,and from my friend Joei (whom i got to know last year at the EOY cosfest'07 because she is Eli's friend,and i only just found out Joei's from ZhongHua last saturday because we only talked last sat,and none at all last year) i heard she's real smart! XinYi told me and Clara (because we went to work early and the place was still locked. Clara started talking to her,and it was then that we knew she watches anime too!) that she got DPA (Direct Polytechnic Admission) with her school results.. which goes to prove it. plus the fact the Joei told me XinYi always gets the top 3 positions in exams.. wow (:
plus,her ringtone is Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi!! at first i was thinking whose ringtone it was,and it turned out to be hers!! wooh~!! hahha
the next is a kinda shy boy named DaoYang.. he is softspoken,but he and i got put to the job of making/wrapping the western style hampers,so we had to sort-of talk. the next day,when Liang Gui and i were on the bus talking about this lamp she and the art club made for their teacher Ms Ng, DaoLiang came to sit behind us. he is,apparently,into art. he collects the tubes and cardboard from the workplace... we talked about anime (yes,turns out he watches them too. LiangGui went gaga when she found out,especially when he said he watches KHR)
he talks to us more often now.. saying Hi and Bye to us... (alot,and mostly that and nothing else)
anyways,the new job is fun. the plastic we used was like cling wrap... DaoLiang and i almost got fired immediately from our new task because we were 1)too slow; 2)left fingerprints on the cling wrap like material and 3)we did a poor job.
okay,mostly i think its 2 that got me fired from it. i was back to good ol' sticking-boxes-and-cans-to-baskets,though this is a different basket.
got cut at this new job too.. and even more than the last one.. i must be clumsy,unlucky,or both. sigh~
and the paint thingy from the rattan baskets somehow stains my hands.. my fingers now have this yellow-brown-orange tinge on them.. weird... oh well.... oh well........ i hate the cuts. especially since the plasters dont stick due to my stupid sweaty palms/soles. rarr.
was going to do the quizes from XinLi's blog but they wont let me copy and i'm lazy to type. so now i'll go check out deviantART.. bye~

since i'm going to try playing the flute, i looked some information on taking care of it and playing it. i feel so stressed now! i dont want to accidentally damaga the flute clara's borrowing for me.
xiao marc says its impossible to learn how to play the flute in a month. of course i know that. its impossible to learn any instrument in a month!
rarr. i guess for the cosplay i'll just have to let clara play her trumpet on her own while i sit and watch,and possibly, *try* to play a freaking simple tune.

anyways,i want to take this chance to thanks clara for all the help!! (costume,custom-made,$128. lenses,buying online,about $15-$20. flute,borrowing,but only have silver while the one in the anime is gold. shoes and wig,pending and looking around)
its been more than a week since i started working last thursday.i'm currently working at Paya Ubi Industrial Park, at Eunos. its a job to wrap hampers. very tiring,really. but its fun to get to know new people.the boss is my junior's dad, Mr See. he's very concerned for his workers,and very amiable.the teacher Ms Anna is very pro at wrapping hampers (actually,so is the boss) and she wraps one real fast!there is an aunty there,i think she's the boss' elder sister. she's very loud,and didnt give me a very good first impresion,but once we got to know her she's actually very friendly too!last thursday,i started putting the decorations on the hampers. i continued on firday for half a day on friday and got on to sticking boxes (of biscuits/crackers,chocolate,kuih,mushrooms,cognac and more) and cans of drinks/pineapple onto baskets. i got pro at it after friday,and i was able to stick on all the foodstuffs in 7 minutes,plus sticking the double-sided tape on all the boxes. hehehe.i continued to stick on boxes and cans until this friday (which was 2 days ago) and i had been changed to learn how to wrap on the plastic for the hamper. i really sucked at first,but my best timing is also 7 minutes. haha.i swear, mostly everything in the place hates me.i get stabbed by tapee dispensers and bled countless times;the tape refuses to work with me,the edges of boxes will somehow hit me and not scar me but hurt me. rarr. and i'll somehow always knock off things,drop things,etc. i'm glad the scissorses dont have any grudge against me for the moment.worse is,my fingers and nails kinda suffered quite abit. the skin on my hand peeled off on some parts,and the tape dispensers kept chafing my fingernails and distorted them. now my nails are uneven. i'm glad yenni did not come to work for this job because she absolutely treasures her nails. then again,i doubt anyone else i know is as clumsy as i am.but the best part is that i have many friends working there!Clara came over this thursday. on the way home on the mrt she tried to get us to cosplay with her. she wants to cosplay Kazuki Hihara from La Corda d'Oro,a trumpeter. very fitting,as clara is a trumpeter in the school.in the end i was the only one who agreed. i have two criteria:the character has to play the flute (aka a flautist. <---according to clara the correct spelling and pronounciation is 'flautist and not 'flutist')the character has to have some sort of relationship with Kazuki.okay,so the first one is a whim of mine,but when i wikipedia-ed it,the only (main) character playing the flute is a good friend of Kazuki! i immediately decided on him,Azumu Yunoki.i was high was 3 days (since thursday till now. haha!) some info on Azuma Yunoki...
