night view by the pool~

we practically played cards the whole of the day/night,but first,the lot of us chatted in the boys' room... that's me trying to avoid the camera.

we were betting like 10 cents,5 cents.... hahaha. shaojie super lucky! everytime he banker he wins TT^TT so we lost alot.... but marcus also very lucky. bet 50cents also will win most of the time. for me,i won -5cents in the end. negative! haha

anyways,picture time~ (and seriously,i hate my hair. i swear i'm going to find some way to tame that tangled chaos)



we watched TV programmes later. its a horror show,about whether there are ghosts and stuff. pretty scary stuff to watch at night,but its okay when you watch it with friends.
shao jie was pretending it was a theatre,asking us to turn off our phones and cameras. ha-ha.

and shaojie has a SEXY pose when he plays cards. just look at his legs on the wall. (oh wait,i think this was taked on the second night. bah. who cares)
anyways,a lot of us did not sleep for the first night,and we went for a night-walk around Sentosa island at 1++ in the morning,to keep in line with watching the horror show. (?)
since there were 17 of us who were going (i think qinjie would have gone if he did not need to go back to school to train his juniors at 9am everyday) so vivien managed to get her volleyball friends to come with us,making a total of 20. we walked around looking for dark paths to travel,but there were none.
the whole group of us then went to the merlion up a zig-zag structure. it was tiring,but worth it. the lights went off suddenly and it was damn cool. the merlion has a light in its nostril (as viewed from below)

we just kept walking,looking for more dark paths,but in the end we just walked down the path toward Palawan beach (speaking of which,they are having the countdown party there now)
yen and esther and kenneth went off on their own,and the rest of us went over to 7eleven to get ourselves some food and drinks before heading back to the resort. the part which went back played cards,while the rest who stayed outside chatted.


vivien went to drink tiget beer with her volleyball friends.
she came back drunk,after drinking 2 cans of beer.
it was amusing to see her walking about in a 'blur' mode...never seen a sight like this. i have to admit with Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles that its amusing to see the things people do when they are drunk. haha.

and i blabbered in japanese 'cause i was kinda high (<--lack of sleep). i said "asa gohan wa taberu",which is along the lines of "i wanna eat breakfast" while i was playing cards with my friends. i cooked (more like used hot water and put everything in a bowl and covering the whole thing with a plate,but that's not my point)
it startled me that liyu understood my sentence,because i had totally forgotten that she goes for japanese lessons. silly me.

i fell asleep on the beach waiting for the sun to rise,which never seemed to because the sun was obscured by the clouds.

it was horrible when it started raining because we had to take shelter. marcus was all "protect sunglass! protect sunglass!" ahaha.
shaojie haad said: the only way to stop him from doing this is to get him to buy a pair which costs $320,then he will think that,aiyo,this pair $180 very cheap!"


in the afternoon was play-time by/in the sea. esther and i managed to drag samuel into the seaour room is this messy~

(food came first at 2++ but bbq was at 5++ and there was some problem with the delivery)

chatting with mr soh after the bbq was a fun event. he told us of his army life,and his recent trip with some colleagues to taiwan. we then celebrated marcus' birthday with some water poured on him,and we went out to play with sparklers... (mr soh went home since it was 12++am)

we played the sparklers on the beach and some of us took photographs. on our way there... the way we held the sparklers was incredulous. it was like a whole group of teenagers on a funeral procession but with smiles on their faces.

at any rate,we were 'caught' for playing at the beach by some patrollers. they had asked "what are y'all doing here?" and we had answered that we had rented the chalet nearby and thus they let us off. huu~ lucky!!

went back to the chalet afterward. some of them played ball outside the resort while some of us went back. elaine,esther,shuyi,dunya and i had a mini challenge in the room because we were so bored but were unable to fall asleep. hahah. the challenge was to hold up our legs whilst lying down for the longest time possible. the person who put his/hers down first forfeits,and we had to put our legs down when someone entered the room...... and so we held our position for about 7 minutes,with elaine and dunya shouting "help" half the time so someone WOULD enter and the challenge will stops. haha. liyu and weilin and vivien came in later at 1.31am and the challenge thus ended with a very thankful dunya and elaine. the 3 girls had questioned our actions. (who wouldn't?!)

slept on the floor in the cold room and got sores all over because the floor was hard and my position was horrible~ in the morning went to BK (burger king) at Dohby Gaut for breakfast. homed and slept after walking into comics connection (after so long!!! i swear i havent bought any manga since prelims which was like 5 months ago. and when i get to taiwan,i SWEAR i WILL step into any bookstore anytime i get so i can buy manga i want. they sell taiwan brands here in SG by about $2 more! rarr. shipping!!! i'd really rather go taiwan buy)

oh well. gotta go now. still have to work though its new year's day.

will update about AFA and EOY and Christmas and my new year Resolutions and whatever after that. hahaha. jaa~

Clara offered to help me borrow a flute,and says she'll give me a crash course as long as i know how to make a sound on the flute. she initially suggested that i get xiao marc to help me,but i dont know him that well. i mean,we havent even talked before. but i'm just terrified i cant play well,if i can play,that is. on the mrt,clara suggested i try blowing into a plastic bottle. i blew and there was a note. clara says i'll do okay for the flute. i want to believe her,but i know i have some problems with coordination.

anyways,i want to take this chance to thanks clara for all the help!!

and today afternoon, Kagami came over! i havent seen my beautiful best friend for almost 3 weeks and i totally missed her. i was all (in chinese) "Ah! you're here too!! i missed you!!!" and i was hugging her for about 2 minutes. yep,i'm this crazy! hahaha.

i'm still waiting for eli to send me the AFA phots so i can blog about it...
